As I have finally wrapped up my 2009 wedding season and the year is coming to a close, I have been organizing all my photos and wanted to share some of my favorite bouquets of the 2009 season...
Many of my Brides are going more non traditional when it comes to their Groom's boutonniere. Seems as though the classic single Rose is a thing of the past. I've been incorporating more grasses, berries and details like seashells, feathers, twigs, etc. to spruce up the Groom's lapel.
Here are a few of my favorite Boutonnieres from this past season...

The final wedding of Blush's 2009 season featured all white and green flowers. It was a great way to end the season, nothing says wedding and romance more than lush white flowers! The wedding featured flowers such as White Peonies, Ranunculus, Green Hydrangea, White Anemones, Green Parrot Tulips, Lisianthus, Curly Willow Branches, Roses and other seasonal flowers. The wedding reception took place at Lake of Isles at Foxwoods Casino.
It was a great end to my 2009 wedding season!! One last shot of my studio full of flowers (and a mess!) for the 2009 season!!
This weekend The White Dress By the Shore is hosting a Melissa Sweet Trunk Show (October 29th-November 1st). I created this bridal bouquet to display in the boutique for the event. It features Ivory Kale, Astilbe, Allium, Wheat and small tufts of fabric. The heads of Kale almost look like Roses--if only it smelled like a Rose instead of Cabbage!!
The Little Black Book Blog on Style Me Pretty featured a gorgeous wedding that the studio created back in June! My Bride, Jenn, who is an artist, had so many beautiful and fun ideas I am so glad that they posted the wedding details for everyone to see!
Maggie Conley took all the gorgeous photos and you can just feel the love between the bride and groom!
White Peonies were the feature flower and fun woodsy whimsical details were added to create a more earthy feel. Thanks everyone at Style Me Pretty for the beautiful post!
