A look back--May Day Wedding

Now that my wedding season is slowing down I've been taking the time to go through the professional photographs of weddings I've done throughout the season. I just went through the pictures of a May 1st wedding that had a May Day Theme complete with Maypole! This wedding is currently being featured on Martha Stewart Weddings site in the Real Weddings section. The Bride and Groom, Allie and Jacob, planned a beautiful blue and white themed Black Tie affair with the help of Candice and the team of Jubilee Events. No detail was overlooked! A big thanks to Amanda of Orchard Cove Photography for these beautiful detail shots!

The ceremony took place at the beautiful Old State House in Hartford. A custom made Aisle Runner in the bride and grooms' wedding colors lead to the White Chuppah which was decorated with Green Moss and Large White Hydrangeas at the base with beautiful French Blue satin ribbon streamers tied at each pole as a nod to the Maypole theme.

Upon entering the Old State House a fabric boutonniere and corsage station was set up so each guest could feel included in the festivities!

Bridesmaids bouquets consisted of Patience Garden Roses, Green Viburnum with accents of Sweet Peas and Blue Delphinium.

The bride's bouquet featured Patience Garden Roses, Stock, Parrot Tulips, Sweet Peas with accents of Blue Cornflower.

The reception took place at the Hartford Club, a block away from the Old State House. Upon entering the foyer of the club a Maypole was displayed with placecards arranged under the streamers, which were later replaced with the guests' favors: Ben Wolffe clay pots with a packet of seeds.

The reception room featured a mix of high and low centerpieces showcasing green and white flowers with accents of blue and silver.

Low arrangements were arranged in different Spode containers as a nod to the Bride's family China.

Ribbon streamers were tied to the guest's silver Chivari chairs.

Ana Parczych's amazing cake featured a wreath of Lily of the Valley and amazing piping all over the tiers!
A wishing table was displayed with an antique watering can being the wish vessel

Congratulations again to Allie & Jacob!!

Saybrook Point Inn Fall Wedding

This past weekend the studio designed a fall themed wedding at Saybrook Point Inn. White Birch containers were filled with White Hydrangea, Lisianthus and Privet Berries, half of the centerpieces featured tall Birch Branches. The brides bouquet incorporated accents of green wheat and pale pink Peonies which just came back into the flower market!
