Carnations have always gotten a bad rap, but here is a great way to make inexpensive holiday decor that will give your room a pop of color and a modern chic feel. The container you use can change the whole look. I have used 4 different shades of purple carnations, antiqued silver compote dishes and cylinders and included some sequin ball accents. Adding some silver pillar candles and votive holders completes the look. Have a fun holiday!!

i LOVE carnations. We used them for our table arrangements at our wedding. We did coffee cans with satin ribbons and stuffed them jammed packed with red carnations! LOVED IT!
