So long Peonies...

It has been a wonderful long season of Peonies, but it has finally come to an end (I'm still trying to squeeze a few stems out of my wholesaler but the bitter end is near)

We've had a great season with these beautiful blooms, but one of my last Peony events of the season featured my favorite yet...



Can't wait to use them again next Spring!

Yellow and Green

Yesterday I designed a mock centerpiece for an upcoming September wedding with Candice of Jubilee Events with a Navy and Yellow color scheme. The bride has collected wooden baskets to be filled with spilling arrangement. Dahlias, Garden Roses, Craspedia, Zinnias and other seasonal flowers are shown. Milk Glass Wedding at Wadsworth Mansion

This past Saturday we designed a pink and white wedding at Wadsworth Mansion in Middletown. Candice and her talented team at Jubilee Events coordinated the beautiful event. The bride and groom's milk glass collection was filled and scattered throughout the mansion and cocktail area. The stunningly simple cake (one of the prettiest I've seen) was made by Felicia's Sweetface Pastry Shoppe I only had time to snap a few pictures, but will post more of this gorgeous bride and groom and the event as soon as I get some professional pics!

The Season of Collections

This Spring has been the season of collections. Brides' have brought me their different collections to be used for or added to their wedding decor. I love the feel it gives to a reception, so unique and interesting and it adds a touch of the couple's personality into the decor. This weekend I will be designing a wedding in my client's gorgeous Milk Glass collection. The Milk Glass will be filled with shades of Soft pinks and Ivories with some fun textural components added in. The wedding will take place at the gorgeous Wadsworth Mansion in Middletown and is coordinated by Candice and her team and Jubilee Events. Can't wait to see this wedding come together on Saturday!

New Website!!

We have been working hard with Lindsay Logan of WOMA design to redesign our website and it was just launched today! I couldn't be more thrilled with how it turned out!!

Madison Beach Club Green & White Wedding

This past weekend we designed a classic green and white wedding featuring Green and White Hydrangea and White Peonies at the beautiful Madison Beach Club. The ceremony took place at the First Congregational Church of Madison. The event was coordinated by Josh Chalmers. I will post more pictures as soon as I get some from the photographer!
