New Haven Wedding

This past Sunday the Blush crew set up a wedding held in a private club in downtown New Haven followed by reception at Union League Cafe. The bride feature shades of purples from antique to brighter shades. Roses, Lisiathus, Antiqued Hydrangea were some of the flowers used. The ceremony decor included lots of pomander balls made from Carnations with strings of White Dendrobium orchids hanging from the trees. Whimsical and Romantic!

Redding Country Club Wedding

This past Saturday shades of Pinks were featured. Garden Roses, Hydrangea, Nerines and Orchids were the main flowers. Lush centerpieces surrounded by loose and floating flowers created elegant tables at the Redding Country Club.

Ritz Carlton, Westchester Wedding

Shades of Gold, Champagne, Ivory and Green were the focus of this past Friday's wedding at the Ritz Carlton in Westchester. Gold Mercury Glass cylinders were filled with Garden Roses, Sedum, Orchids, and other seasonal flowers with hanging green Amaranthus to add to the richness.

Norwalk Aquarium Wedding

A couple of weeks ago Blush created a wedding at the Norwalk Aquarium. A nautical blue and white theme carried throughout the decor. The wedding was coordinated by the talented Candice of Jubilee Events. Bridal Bouquet by Blush featured in Connecticut Weddings Magazine Fall/Winter 2009 Issue!

The Connecticut Bride Fall/Winter 2009 Magazine just came out and it features a beautiful sunset-hued bridal bouquet we designed! The bouquet features shades of peaches, oranges and corals with a little green thrown in, lots of Garden Roses, Parrot Tulips, Sweet Peas, Ranunculus and Geranium Leaves were used.

Eolia Mansion Wedding

This past weekend we designed a wedding reception held at Eolia Mansion and the ceremony was held at the Chapel at Connecticut College. The bride wanted to feature a mix of Ivory, greens and purples and blues. Everything was created in a gardeny organic style. We used French wire baskets and pedestal urns to line down the long rectangle tables. So pretty!!
