Colors of Fall

This gorgeous combination of mustard golden Yellow with the silver blue and creamy ivory is a little more subtle and sophisticated than the traditional Fall shades of Orange, Reds and Yellows. Succulents, Craspedia and Dahlias give great textures. So soft and pretty!

It has been a whirlwind month of events this September which I will be posting pictures of as soon as I have a chance to catch my breath! Last week the studio was full of all kinds of funky textures for a couple of events we designed. Here's a little sneak peek of some of the fun floral elements we had to play with!

New Haven Spring Wedding

Susan and William were married in New Haven this past April Their romantic and glamorous beach wedding featured lots of pale pink Spring blooms. Pale Pink and Ivory Peonies, Parrot Tulips, Hydrangea, Ranunculus, Garden Roses and Manzanita Branches filled their wedding day. These gorgeous pictures are courtesy of the talented JAG Studios.

Hot Pink and Green Seaside Wedding Sneak Peek!

This past Friday the studio designed a wedding at the Saybrook Point Inn featuring Hot Pink Garden Roses with green accents. Robert Norman photographed the event and sent me this gorgeous pic today of the bridesmaids' bouquets. The bouquets featured Hot Pink Garden Roses, Ranunculus and Hypericum Berries.

Enjoy the Sunshine!

After a week and a half of ups and downs caused by the Tropical Storm Irene we have decided to take the long holiday weekend off and escape to our lake house to enjoy the last unofficial weekend of Summer (and to enjoy some power since ours is still out!!). We wish everyone a happy weekend and we will back in action next week!

100 Layer Cake Feature Today!!

We are so excited to have the stunning wedding of Cameron and Josh be featured on 100 Layer Cake today! This gorgeous couple was married at the Wadsworth Mansion in Middletown in June at the height of Peony season.
