We are so happy to see one of our gorgeous brides featured on Style Me Pretty Massachusetts Blog this morning!

Brooke and Steve planned their gorgeous wedding at this amazing old beach house on the water in Westbrook, the location and weather was perfect for their June wedding. Brooke was all about featuring bright colors and embracing the start of summer. Bright Watermelon Pink Peonies with yellow and green accents were the feature flower of the event. We filled wire baskets lined with moss and wooden boxes and incorporated lots of greens and kiwi vines to keep a casual feel to the event. Carla Ten Eyck and her team took the gorgeous pictures!

Kate Moss Wedding

So many celebrity weddings are over the top glam, but when I saw the pictures from Kate Moss' recent wedding in Vogue I just fell in love with the casual English Countryside elegance, not to mention her adorable bridal party each with their own floral head wreath, so angelic...

I love the smaller bridal bouquets that are often seen in European weddings, they're so delicate and feminine, I'm hoping that trend follows to the U.S. ( especially after Princess Kate debuted her smaller bouquet recently also) and look at her fabulous shoes...

And the just picked feel of the garden style arrangements in cut glass vases creates such a warm inviting table scape
I just love every simple detail of this wedding!

Every season there is the one event that I wait all season to design, this year there has been many, but yesterday I created a mock centerpiece for an upcoming wedding I am designing with Candice of Jubilee Events that I simply cannot wait for.

So long Peonies...

It has been a wonderful long season of Peonies, but it has finally come to an end (I'm still trying to squeeze a few stems out of my wholesaler but the bitter end is near)

We've had a great season with these beautiful blooms, but one of my last Peony events of the season featured my favorite yet...



Can't wait to use them again next Spring!

Yellow and Green

Yesterday I designed a mock centerpiece for an upcoming September wedding with Candice of Jubilee Events with a Navy and Yellow color scheme. The bride has collected wooden baskets to be filled with spilling arrangement. Dahlias, Garden Roses, Craspedia, Zinnias and other seasonal flowers are shown.
